Jefferson Relief Interceptor
Construction Begins: February 17, 2025
The Jefferson Relief Sewer Tunneling Project will install a 60-inch diameter sewer tunnel beneath the southbound curb lane of Jefferson Avenue. This critical infrastructure improvement addresses capacity issues in our current sewer system and will significantly improve water quality in Lake St. Clair.
Traffic Control
• Nine Stages of Traffic Control
• Traffic Control will expand and contract as project proceeds north
• North of 10 Mile Road will be One Way traffic
• Bon Brae is a dead-end street. Ingress/ Egress will be established and signage in place before the one-way traffic control set up
• Special Business Signs will be provided to direct traffic to businesses
